There will be an additional fee of $125 automatically added to each entry submitted and/or unpaid after 11:59 PST on June 27, 2008. Your entry must be finalized and paid in full prior to June 27, 2008 to be eligible for the regular entry deadline fee. No exceptions.

5-7 entries: $375
8+ entries: $350 each

Who May Enter
Competition is open to promotion, advertising, marketing and PR agencies, consultancies, inhouse agencies and marketing departments at client companies, or others involved in the development of a promotion. Campaigns must have closed in the 12 months prior to the deadline of June 27, 2008. The launch date is not a concern; only the date the campaign ended.

You must be able to support your results in order to be considered a viable entry. If your campaign has closed but you do not have results calculated prior to June 27, 2008 do not submit your entry this year (it will be eligible in the 2009 awards program). Any campaign that did not have results calculated in time to enter the 2007 PRO Awards is eligible to enter this year.

The Judging Process
Entries are reviewed by a panel of judges representing creative, strategic, and tactical expertise from brand marketing companies and agencies. Each campaign is evaluated equally on:

  • Concept: strength and relevance of concept for objectives and target audience
  • Originality: innovation in the concept
  • Execution: quality of campaign execution
  • Results: achievement compared with objectives

Winner Selection
There will be four finalists selected in each category.
All finalists will be notified by phone, mail and email during the week of September 15, 2008. Winners will be announced at the PRO Awards Party & Presentation in Ocotber, 2008.

Industry-Wide Recognition
PRO Awards finalists will appear in the October 2008 issue of PROMO. • A full description of the finalists’ campaigns will be featured on PROMO’s website.• Category winner will be showcased in the December 2008 issue of PROMO. • In October, 2008, the coveted PRO Awards crystal will be awarded to the BEST promotion in each category at the PRO Awards Party and Presentation. • One campaign will be named Best Promotion of the Year.
